Returns and Exchanges Policy

​We really hope that you are happy with your order but do understand if you would like to return or exchange your product/s. We can offer a refund or exchange on items in an unused/new condition.

Returns must be sent within 14 days of the purchase and every item will be inspected on receipt. Any item in a non-sellable condition will not be accepted. Proof of purchase will also be required.

How to Return or Exchange an item: If you would like to return or exchange your item you must email sales@thedartmoorshepherd.co.uk prior to returning your parcel and within 14 days of purchasing the item. You must provide proof of purchase eg. your order number and the name the order was taken under.

Please then return your order via Royal Mail. In your package please include a note with your name and order number then please return to:
The Dartmoor Shepherd Shop, 30 The Square, Chagford, Devon, TQ13 8AB

Once we receive your order we will check the items and refund the order if in an un-used condition.

Free in-store returns and exchanges are also accepted at our shop in Chagford, Dartmoor.

Please note we cannot accept any returns for any lamb/hogget/mutton/meat, you will not be refunded.

Wholesale Returns Policy

DELIVERY TERMS

From the time of order deliveries may take up to 4 weeks to process and arrive with the customer. Please contact us for a more specific lead-time if required.

PAYMENT

Payments must be made within 30 days net to The Dartmoor Shepherd ltd. Ownership remains with The Dartmoor Shepherd ltd until buyer has made full payment. Interest on overdue payment will be charged at 10% for every 48 hours after the due date for payment. Payment for initial orders may be required to be paid upfront until a trading relationship is established.

RETURNS

Returns are only accepted after prior agreement with The Dartmoor Shepherd ltd. Only returns made due to faulty dispatch or manufacturing defects will be accepted with no cost to the customer. The faults must be reported to The Dartmoor Shepherd no later than 7 days after the goods have been received. Other returns, approved by The Dartmoor Shepherd will be credited with a deduction of 20% of the total sum along with freight charges.

All our products are made from natural materials and therefore they will vary
slightly in size, texture and colour and returns will not be accepted on this
basis.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS IN TRANSPORT

Visible damage on packaging or missing goods:

1. On delivery you should check the condition of the packaging. If there is any obvious damage or items are missing or incorrect you should point this out straight away and make sure to record this on the day of delivery.

2. Contact us via email within 7 days of receiving the goods. Make sure you get proof of your claim (i.e. photos).
